Civics education is good for business and society.
Canadian Democracy @ Work is a non-partisan learning initiative launched by the Dais at Toronto Metropolitan University to build civic skills for the digital age. Why Now?
Canadian democracy is under immense pressure.
Polarization is rising, trust is fading, and disinformation is accelerating. It’s leaving us angry, divided, and disengaged. And it’s hurting our relationships, our decision-making, and our ability to solve problems together.
Canadian Democracy @ Work is partnering with employers across the country to boost civic engagement, fight disinformation, and equip Canadians with the skills to navigate AI and the digital world.
